Julia Galperin
President & Founder
Julia Galperin is a senior at Francis Parker Upper School. She has been an active volunteer in the San Diego community for 5-6 years. Through her years of involvement with the Jewish Family Services, she has had a window into the ongoing needs of the homeless community. She has tutored underprivileged children at Carsons Elementary School and the Bayside Community Center where she was made aware of the difficult circumstances that affect these children and cause them to miss out on their childhood. The simple joys, experiences, and curiosities of a child should not be lost due to these circumstances. Julia is determined to restore the laughter and happiness that come with being a child.
Julia loves traveling, photography, exploring the outdoors, and listening to music. Julia loves the feeling of accomplishing a goal and believes laughter can cure all bad days. She hopes to explore the STEM field and medicine in college.
